The starting point of this design was the energy, dynamism, and ever-moving spirit of youth. Sneakers are not merely a clothing choice for today’s young generation; they symbolize freedom, speed, and comfort. I interpreted this symbolism through the visual language of shoelaces.

The interlacing curves of the laces transformed into a pattern  sometimes a tight knot, sometimes freely flowing lines. These forms represent the world of youth: at times complex, at times fluid, but always full of vitality.

For the color palette, I chose dynamic and energetic tones that reflect the spirit of youth. Bold contrasts emphasized movement and freedom, while rhythmic repetitions created visual harmony.

The resulting pattern became a powerful visual language that symbolizes both individuality and the collective bonds of youth culture. Thanks to this innovative approach and expressive narrative, the design was awarded First Place in the 10th TAÇ “Bir De Sen Tasarla” Competition.
