7th TAÇ “Bir De Sen Tasarla” Competition TETSİAD Special Prize

This pattern design draws inspiration from nostalgia and music. Since the competition’s theme was youth, I aimed to reflect the indispensable and emotional role of music in young people’s lives. Details such as the forms, arrangement, and alignment of old cassette tapes were used to create rhythm and visual balance in the design. The color palette incorporates retro and vintage tones; soft and warm colors add a nostalgic feeling and timeless aesthetic. The design brings together the energy of youth, the universal language of music, and nostalgic touches from the past, offering both an emotional and visual experience. The Turkish Home Textile Manufacturers and Businesspeople Association (TETSİAD) recognized this work with the Special Prize for its originality, aesthetic approach, and detailed expression.
