International Colors of ”Türkeli” Fashion Design Third Place Award for Ahmet Ağlamaz
The “International Colors of Türkeli” fashion design competition, organized as part of the “Women and Fashion in the Turkic World” project, highlighted the artistic and cultural characteristics of the Turkic World while emphasizing the theme of women. In this competition, Ahmet Ağlamaz was awarded third place for his design.
The event was supported by the 2013 Eskişehir Turkic World Capital of Culture Agency and TÜRKSOY, taking place on May 5-7, 2014, in Eskişehir and Ankara. Designers, industry representatives, and academics from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Mongolia, Crimea, Altai, Tatarstan, Sakha Yakut, Khakassia, Tuva, Bashkortostan, Kalmykia, Kabardin-Balkaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Siberia, Russia, Buryatia, and Turkey participated in the project.

The program included a panel discussing the current state of the fashion industry in Turkic countries and the role of women in production and consumption. The activities concluded with the “From Mongolia to Kosovo: Türkeli” fashion show in Ankara, showcasing 150 unique ethnic garments by renowned designers from the Turkic World.
