In the 11th “Bir de Sen Tasarla” competition, Ahmet Ağlamaz achieved second place among young designers for his outstanding work
The results of the 11th TAÇ “Design It Yourself” Competition, organized with TETSİAD for undergraduate students of the Department of Vocational Education, were announced at the award ceremony attended by Zorlu Family members, Vedat Aydın, executives, academicians, and students.
Vedat Aydın highlighted Turkey’s growing prominence in Europe’s textile sector and emphasized the importance of design for the industry’s future. The competition encourages young designers to bring innovative ideas to the home textile sector.
The first-place winner received 10,000 TL, second place 7,000 TL, and third 5,000 TL. Ahmet Ağlamaz was among the winners, alongside other students whose works stood out for creativity and originality.
Winning designs will be produced by TAÇ, made available online, featured in catalogs, and winners will have opportunities for internships or positions at Zorlu Textile Group.
Finalist designs will also compete through public voting, with an additional prize of 3,000 TL for the winner.
